POLE FITNESS & POLE DANCING: BEGINNER COURSES
Once you have learned how to climb, invert and more you will be introduced to more difficult moves in one of our intermediate and advanced classes listed below. Come and experience a class with one of our favourite pole artists, our very own Mr Unicorn, Damian Kutryb.
Our beginner pole dancing/fitness courses really are for complete beginners- you don’t need to have any experience to take part. All of our Beginner courses run over five weeks and each class lasts for one hour. New Courses start every 6 weeks. Upcoming course start dates are as follows:

Open level classes are for people who already have some pole dancing experience. They’re perfect as refreshers of what you already know and a great place to pick up some extra tricks too.

SPINNING POLE: MIXED ABILITY CLASSES
If you’re new to pole dancing, or you’ve recently started to learn, then you’ll probably have noticed that there are static dance poles, which are fixed and don’t spin - then there are spinning poles, which spin by themselves! In this class everything is about Spinning Pole. You will learn to control your momentum and perform slow, controlled spins or fast tricks and transitions. You need to be comfortable with inverts, basic upside down moves for these classes.

We'd like to invite you to GFF's first Plus Sized Polers Class,where we offer a you a safe space enabling you to feel comfortable enough in your plus sized body to exercise and get fit improve your well being in a friendly, motivational and supportive environment.

Classes are taught by our very own Nadia Traynor, a plus size poler & aerialst.
Classes have been specially designed for men and women with a fuller figure and/or de-conditioned or returning to exercise. All BODIES are welcome. Enjoy classes in a safe supported environment!

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
We recommend that you wear shorts (better for grip on the pole) or jogging bottoms are fine. T-shirt or vest tops are suitable – anything comfortable. Bare feet are fine to get you started. We ask that you do not wear socks during class as they can cause slips For Exotic Pole classes you should bring your heels and knee pads! .
Please do not wear any hand cream, body moisturisers, self tan or creams on the day of the class as this makes the pole slippery and dangerous.
All hanging jewellery including rings and necklaces should be removed before class. Exposed belly button bars should be removed or covered with a plaster.
ARE THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTIONS?
To take part in our adult pole classes you must be aged 15 or over. Our Exotic Pole class is for age 18+ (16 with parental permission) and our Filthy Friday classes are strictly for those aged 18+. There are no upper age limits.
DO I HAVE TO BOOK?
Booking each class or course is essential. Please book your place here.
If for any reason you cannot make your class please cancel your booking with at least 24 hours prior to the class or you will be charge for the missed class. Places are limited with never more than 2 people per pole.
