DANCE

We're here to dance for us and only us, and the only competition we see is the reflection of ourselves

DANCEHALL

Dancehall is a highly energetic dance style, with a strong focus on moving the hips and booty.

It's a genre of Jamaican popular music that grew from the reggae and roots styles of music in the 1970's.

Developed in the dance halls of Jamaica, at parties and nightclubs.

Dancehall is a way of life and a music style for Jamaicans, apart from just being a dance style.

Our dancehall classes vary from Beginner - Advanced level.

REGGAETON

Reggaeton has a mixture of Jamaican and Latin American influences, blended with Hip Hop and Electronica beats. Reggaeton is a sexy and passionate dance, making it very popular in clubs and discos worldwide, and especially in Puerto Rico. It is also suitable for any party or social occasion for fans of Latin music. Dancing Reggaeton is not much different than regular dancing, there’s just more hip action and grinding all while trying to look cool, tough, and as sexy as possible. So if you hear Reggaeton and you get that urge to shake those hips like you’re Shakira, get out there and dance.

TWERK

Twerk is a phenomenon that has its origins in ancestral Afro-descendant dances and, above all, advocates for a liberation of the body.

“Shake your butt! Twerk requires good hip movement and plenty of booty shaking (although you don't need a juicy boom to do this).

Our Twerk classes are mixed level.

CONTEMPORARY

Contemporary dance is a style of interpretive dance that embraces innovation, blending techniques from various genres, including classical ballet, jazz, modern dance, and lyrical dance.

It uses a technique such as ballet as its fundamentals and creates many more movements that do not adhere to the strict rules of ballet and modern.

Contemporary dance combines the strong but controlled legwork of Ballet, with elements of Modern Dance, focusing on the contract and release of the body, and the unpredictable changes in rhythm, speed, and direction.

It also employs floor work, fall and recovery, and improvisation characteristics of Modern dance.

Our Contemporary classes are mixed level.

HOT IN HEELS

Commercial dance classe that teach students a wide range of urban dance techniques, styles and choreography - for all ages and abilities. This style combines street, pop and lyrical jazz moves to make a fantastic and inspiring new class. This style of dance can be seen in pop music videos and on MTV. Dance to your favourite pop tracks and get fit too.

SHUFFLE

Shuffle dance is improvised dancing where the person repeatedly “shuffles” the feet inwards, then outwards, while thrusting their arms up and down, or side to side, in time with the beat and energetic music.

Our Shuffles classes are mixed level.
